A one-button stealth reaction game where you stab the king, take the throne, and then try not to get stabbed the same way.

About Murder?
Murder is a fast browser arcade game built around a simple role swap. You start as the king’s adviser, sneak up from behind, and try to time your attack well enough to take the crown for yourself.
Once the attack works, the game flips. Now you are the king, and someone else is creeping up behind you with the exact same plan. The main pressure comes from reading the moment correctly, because attacking too late gets you caught, and reacting too slowly on the throne gets you killed.
How to Play Murder
As the assassin, move in behind the king and hold the attack button to charge your stab. You need to commit at the right moment. If the king turns around while you are charging, you get caught and thrown away instead of taking the throne.
If your attack lands, you become king. From there, the loop changes from sneaking to defending. Watch for suspicious movement behind you and turn around at the right time to catch the next assassin before they strike.
The whole game is built on this back-and-forth cycle. You are always either waiting for the safest moment to attack or trying to read the exact moment someone behind you is about to do the same. Quick reactions matter, but patience matters more.

Tips of Murder
- Do not fully commit too early; wait until the king looks least likely to turn.
- If the king starts turning while you charge, stop the attempt instead of forcing it.
- As king, check behind you before the assassin gets too close.
- Treat each round as a timing game, not a speed game, because rushed inputs get punished fast.
